Design Challenge
My Church App is a consolidated app for multiple churches where community members connect with their churches and each other. The design looked outdated, so I decided to do a full design overhaul within 4 days to challenge my Figma prototyping skills.
Splash & Connect
The splash screen needed to resonate with church users, so I added a calm, peaceful church photo. A major UX issue was that there was no easy way to distinguish between using a church keyword and searching for churches. I also made the Connect page more branded and informative.
Onboarding
I introduced a church-branded splash screen for a smoother brand transition from MyChurch App to individual church branding, making users feel successfully connected.
Home, Giving & Profile
I carried forward design principle work from my time at Pushpay and expanded it. The card components were redesigned. For the Profile screen, I found a better placement for the Give Again feature at the bottom with an inspiring image.
